MahjHQ handles seating, scoring, and standings for your mahjong nights. This policy covers the MahjHQ site and app.

You give us your name and, when a night asks for them, your email and phone number. If you create an account, you sign in with an email and a 6-digit code. You can also add a US mobile number for optional event texts. If you agree to texts, we also store the time you agreed.

When you play, we keep your seating, scores, and standings for that night.

We use this information to seat you, score the night, show standings, and send email updates about a night you joined. We use a phone number to list you on the roster.

We text you only after you opt in.

MahjHQ texts you only after you opt in. You receive reminders, seating, schedule, and score updates for nights you join. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of playing. Giving a phone number for a roster is not consent to receive texts.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Directors of a night you join see the roster details that night collects, including a phone number when they ask for one. We use service providers to host the app and to send email. We do not sell your information.

We keep roster and score records for as long as the night exists, and account records until you ask us to delete them. Email privacy@mahjhq.com to ask.
